Now it's time to tell you how much fun we are going to have. We have enjoyed preparing for this reunion and many have done a ton of work. We have some good numbers responding to the invitations, but no where near the 800+ we had graduate. Where is everyone? Pleae keep trying to make the effort to come. It's so interesting to see and hear what people have done in 40 years. Of course, it creates some melancholy, some jealousy, some admiration, some "I should have done...." some "Boy am I grateful..."....and more, but it definitely makes you think/. Come to the Reunion!
As of today (4/23/08) we have managed to find and verify 321 classmates' contact information. This includes 33 who are deceased. That leaves479 1968 Skyline Eagles remaining to be located. Time is running short to get the word about the reunion to everyone possible. Each of us has kept in touch with some others in the class at work, through correspondence, professional associations, as neighbors, etc. Please search your personal address books and blackberries and let us know who and where our old friends are. Better yet, contact them and have them log onto thewww.skyline1968.comwebsite to leave their information and find out all about the reunion. Don't wait! Do it today!

There are so many great folks helping us with this reunion. I can't thank them enough for their time, their talents and willingness to help put this reunion together. It's going to be great fun. I hope you'll find at least one of the venues that sounds like it would fit your schedule. This will be the best one yet I can tell.... Hope to see you there.
Just chatted with Mary (Jean) Herzog Parkin's husband - her biggest fan. Mary is a NATIONAL EXPERT on endangered species and has dedicated a 20 year career to animal and plant conservation - go girl! Has anyone else run 11 marathons?
I uploaded my "then-n-now" photos and a comment to the "who are you now" section ... I'm amazed at the length of the list of people who are "lost". It's sad that we can't contact them. I have an e-mail address for Dave Stroud, I'll send it along (don't have it with me now) ... But he hasn't been responding to it (??) Looking forward to seeing people in September ... And I hope that Lance Temple can make it! Bob Alm.

I am really excited for this reunion. I can not believe when people tell me they are not interested in coming to see everyone. Maybe I am just an old sentimental person. I am now a wife of a dentist, Randy, who practice is just south of Cottonwood Mall, mother of 5 children, 4 are married, so that makes it 9 children. I am so grateful that they all live close except 1 that is temporarily in Arizona. I have 12 fabulous grandchildren. They are the dessert of life and also keep me extremely busy. I am the proud owner of a Registered Nursing Degree. I went to school after 4 children were born. I retired from hospital work in Labor and Delivery and Nursery. Currently I work as a DOULA. Helping mothers have their babies. I can't believe Kay Miner Mumford actually had one of her babies at her mom's house! My husband and I have been called to work with the Substance Abuse Recovery Program. We do meetings in the jails and prisons and all over the valley. So far I haven't met a class mate in prison. Or I just don't remember them and they haven't let it be known I graduated with them. However, I have met some great life time friends. It has been so fun working with other wonderful class mates. They are all so generous and dedicated to make this reunion great. Everyone had better support their effort or I'll make up some story to have you thrown in prison so you will have a good excuse for not coming. (just kidding) PLEASE PLEASE COME !!!!! I want to see everyone. Love You All, Jan Johnson Black

I'm so sorry I will not be attending the reunion. I was planning to be there Friday, with Robyn Green Moosavi. She will be there without me, though. Two important gigs have come up this weekend that I need to be here in Los Angeles for. Doug, and the gang have done a terrific job on this one! Take a lot of photo's and post them on the site. My love to all the Skyline Eagles Class of 1968. May we all be there in good health for the next one.
Great reunion and well worth the trip from Hong Kong! A HUGE Thank You to all on the Reunion committee for all you have done. It was definately a good time. I think the Mix and Mingle would have lasted even longer, but the staff kept taking everything down and cleaning. Maybe they felt it would take us all night to do what we used to do all night, so they better get us out of there! Again, THANKS for a great event.
Thanks to the committee for the great job in organizing the re-union. I enjoyed the mix and mingle, and re-gret I couln't make it out of bed to play golf or go for a hike. I had a great time dancing at the barbecue. I regret it didn't go on longer. Part of the re-union was meeting people that I had once known, but another part was re-meeting people that I had never known that well. I look for to the next re-union. Great dance band. Will they play longer next time? Ciao for now.
Hi there fellow classmates... I just thought I would comment on how I am sorry I couldn't make the reunion, but I am sure you all had a good time getting together! It is wonderful to know that you all can look backward and remember the times in High School with fond memories, and still be able to renew friendships once again! Family and friends make the world a better place to live in I think despite the ups and downs we go through if you know what I mean...I look forward to a better year hopefully and this time I hope to make the next reunion to renew friendships and get to know you that I didn't get the chance to meet when I had to leave to go overseas with my parents in 1968. I may have graduated in Japan, but my heart also graduated at Skyline High. Christmas was spent at home with my hubby, daughter & her two children, and brother-in-law that lives with us. My son and his family were snowbound in Am. Fork. My Christmas village, and 2 Nativity scenes are still up due to my grandson loving the lights on at night, LOL! This will remind me of the birth of Christ, and on my goal to do better this year...mentally, physically, and spiritually. Take care my friends, and look forward to getting to know you all better too. Happy New Year my fellow classmates! Love, Velma
Dear Fellow friends...This year I look forward to getting reacquainted with you all. Happy New Year and may you all have a great year ahead as well. I was sorry I couldn't attend the fun reunion, but hopefully I can go to the next one! My Christmas was slim in presents, but great in spirit! My house was fully decorated with the holiday lights, Nativity Scenes galore, trees, Nutcracker Soldiers galore...my favorites!!, and lighted villiages, etc. My trees outside were covered with lights this time...hubby was on a roll, lol! And we had our snow too. I really feel blessed to live here with my family and friends, and look forward to doing better on my goals both mentally, physically, and spiritually !! Love, Velma
